Originally supplied to Italy in the 1990s to develop the whisky market in central Europe, this 10y classic has a little twist in flavour profile that works perfectly for the intended target audience who were/are known more for thier extensive wine pallate.

 

Malty and balsamic with waves of dried fruits such as mango and peach, this fine pour progresses into leather, almonds, caramel, honey and nougat before finishing aromatic with grape tannins and a moderately dry bitterness.

Think sauvignon blanc meets dry hopped caramel cheesecake and your almost there!
